An insider's testimony
This is a very very important testimony ... consider this quote:
"I don't think most Americans realize how much the interest of very large corporate international entities who own most of the major news outlets are working - frequently in secret, nearly always quietly - to serve each other's interest, not the public interests, not the interests of news of integrity, the news the public needs to know, because these large corporations that own something [like] 80 maybe 85% of the major news outlets in the country, they have a vast interest in Washington.
They have legislative needs, they have regulatory needs for other parts of their businesses....I don't think most people realize that [there is] a combination of big business ... and big government working, and how much influence they have in these news rooms. This has got to stop, if the public in our democracy has the information it needs to make the decisions that our country needs
