Buchanan Under Fire
Congressman Vern Buchanan, of the 13th district in Florida, is facing increasing trouble in his reelection campaign. A first-term congressman and a long-time autodealer, Buchanan is being sued by a remarkable number of former employees and customers at the very height of the campaign season. So far, seven separate legal complaints have been filed against Buchanan, accusing him of flouting campaign finance laws, defrauding banks and customers, and even smuggling undocumented immigrants into the country to work on his beachfront house. ANP traveled to Florida to investigate the story.

Its interesting how many people are clearly expressing a consistent disregard of the law in Vern Buchanan's business practices and his political dealings, as well as an inconsistency in his own statements during his campaign.

Anyone that would trust Buchanan with their life needs their head examined. He had made his way up by lying and ripping people off. You know when he's lying when his lips are moving. His money was made by ripping off innocent people (and Chase Bank) with his American Speedy sham. Get real. The guy's a crook. An official crook, being in the top 20 most corrupt members of congress.

are you kidding me? his money has been made off the backs of his own constituents and employees he rips off daily. here is a guy who is supposed to represent the people of fl13 and he does just the opposite. instead of looking out for his district, he systematically commits fraud, avoids taxes, and generally rapes and pillages his own constituency. as a registered republican and former employee of buchanan's, i am disgusted and appalled at his lack of honesty, ethics and his overall hipocrasy. i would not trust him with anything, much less my life.
Many missleading statements
His money was made prior to entering the car industry. He was never in a position to mislead people or banks. He is just a wealthy man that people like to attack.
I know him to be an honest hardworking person.
I would trust him with my life.
